How exercise you upload pictures/videos to the forums?

Hi,

 I want to upload an prototype and video to another mail but I tin can't effigy how to exercise it. I've tried clicking on the little icon for images in the upper correct-paw corner that says "Attach Images" merely it opens upward to paradigm URL (non sure what to do) or from Gallery/Upload which says see below but at that place is zilch there. I encounter lots of folks seem to exist able to upload both pictures and videos. Can someone detail how information technology's done?

Thanx simply I'grand trying to upload my ain screen-shots of Sonar to the forums which are merely stored on my computer. Is at that place a way to practise this?

You can't upload them here - they demand to be hosted elsewhere e.thou. photobucket, imgur

NOT Photobuckey  stay away-- I used to use it and now they askin for greenbacks to open all my files files.
Use Imgur  https://imgur.com/    gratuitous. Y'all can also use your Photos from Facebook if your not wishing to employ Imgur. This is 1 beneath

You tin also open a Yard-mail service account and then use Google Photos to add you ain photos to the gallery.
This came from my Googles Photos drove.

  1. Ingather, practise limited editing from within Google photos
  2. Download the file(due south)
  3. Re-upload to Google Drive
  4. Right-click the file(s), select 'Get Shareable Link', which will be in the format of https://drive.google.com/open?id=1uN8q2gBGICUjTP4IlRrjC2LrDfsrJpgv
  5. Substitute, 'https://bulldoze.google.com/open?id=' with 'http://bulldoze.google.com/uc?export=view&id=' & append the unique file proper name(s)
  6. Now you can use this URL to insert link into a forum posting

Yes, I take google photos and it works well. I'one thousand not a facebook guy, more of a voicebook blazon.

 And... Jesse, I don't come across whatever of your google photos either.

 Thanx for the Google proposition. I'll give it a try soon. It's very late, fourth dimension for slumber.

If you lot apply facebook, y'all can create an album, set it to private (so your friends don't wonder why y'all proceed making weird screen grabs) and take the image URL fro there.

If  the video link you mail goes a bit wonky, and cretes a link nd not a video. Paste the line into Notepad, then re-create and post back to the forum, an that will fix it.

I've had no problem using Imgur, But then every bit the Monkey said they all start out fine and over time could hold y'all ransom. Imgur could exist bought out or even simply shut down.  If you lot dig back through my former posts yous will soon fine the ones I used Photobucket for, they are all dead links now.
I use my ain web page for important stuff I then have total control. I have a hidden folder so as Kamikaze Say's people won't be weirded out by your screenshots of boring software stuff..

 Thanks for the tip on posting Utube. I'g just in the process of screen capturing some tutorials on CbB so my ring partner can learn to utilise it. I was thinking some others might find them useful.
